Recipe- Spicy Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Toss these in a salad or just leave on your counter to much. Yum!

Ingredients:

2 Cups Raw Pumpkin Seeds

Oil of your choice, just enough to cover the seeds- maybe 2 to 3 TBSP: Grapeseed or light olive oil preferable)

1/4 tsp or so of Cayenne Pepper (all have different amount of heat. You must taste it to know how hot it is. Season to your tastes.)

1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

1/2 tsp Regular Paprika

Sea Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper to taste

Toss all ingredients together and place on large baking sheet. You want them to not be overlapping much, but spread out so they bake evenly.

Be very careful when roasting nuts and don't leave the room… I speak from experience! Even with a timer on, we often leave them in too long. So be careful.

I like roasting on low heat, maybe around 350 degrees for around 10 to 15 minutes. Check them to see how they are doing at about 10 minutes. All ovens are different.

Let them cool completely before putting them in any enclosed storage container.
